It's a well known fact that there is a large gap in living standards between the west and developing countries, but it is often difficult to know what can be done, at an individual level, to make an impact.
The Kindu Trust’s work creates opportunity, and provides hope and skills for Ethiopia’s future: its children. We support families to build a better future in a country that is one of the poorest and least developed in the world.
With severe drought frequently hitting the country, some of Ethiopia’s children face starvation, and many face malnutrition, extreme hardship and poor health. We are a registered charity in the UK and, with few overheads, our beneficiaries directly benefit from your contribution.

Why contribute to The Kindu Trust’s work? We are a small, personal charity without big organisation overheads and with a direct link to the local communities we work with in Ethiopia. Our families are carefully selected, a personal relationship is built up with them and we visit them in their home.
We have a dedicated team of volunteers in the UK and a committed partner team in Ethiopia. Our mission is simple: to support Ethiopian children, young adults and families to create a sustainable future.
